Trademark and Brand Usage Policy

Ownership: The trademark "SiFi Garden" is held by Larry Grenevitch and Dynamic Marketing Collaboration LLC (DMC). DMC acts as the holding company and "DBA" until SiFi Garden is spun off into its own LLC.

Permitted Uses (Royalty-Free)

1. Personal Use: Building and using the system at home.

2. Commercial Use: Building and using the system for growing crops to sell.

3. Produce Sales: Selling plants or vegetables grown using the SiFi Garden method.

4. Media & Journalism: Creators, writers, and journalists may publish content about the "SiFi Garden method" or "SiFi Garden system" for educational purposes, provided they attribute the name to the official brand.  Contact us about use of the SiFi Garden logo (probably free).

Restricted Uses (Licensing Required)

1. Hardware & Kits: Selling any physical product (buckets, nutrients, lights, shelving, and associated products for using the method) branded as "SiFi Garden."

2. Professional Titles: Using the title "SiFi Garden Consultant" or "Certified Trainer" to charge for services.

3. Paid Media: Using the brand name in the title of paid books, courses, or training manuals.

The 3-Tier Licensing Structure

To ensure quality across the ecosystem, we offer three levels of brand association:

• Tier 1: "For SiFi Garden"

• Definition: Components (like T8 lights or specific buckets) that the vendor claims meet our specs.

• Requirement: A small per-unit royalty.

• Mandatory Disclaimer: "This product is independently claimed by the manufacturer to meet SiFi Garden specs; it has not been internally vetted."

• Tier 2: "SiFi Garden Approved"

• Definition: We have reviewed the vendor’s Bill of Materials (BOM) and designs to ensure they meet our grow, longevity and safety standards.

• Requirement: Licensing fee (includes technical review). Note: There is currently no separate "review fee"; it is bundled into the partnership to encourage cooperation.

• Tier 3: "SiFi Garden Tested and Certified"

• Definition: The "Gold Standard." Larry Grenevitch has personally grown a full cycle using this hardware.

• Requirement: Prototypes or samples must be provided for lab testing. Successfully tested and certified products will be featured on the SiFi Garden YouTube channel.
